For most bands, taking over Brixton Academy for seven shows may well be the main thing on their mind, but The xx aren’t just any ordinary band, bringing their Night + Day takeover to the airwaves for a string of shows that you can now listen back to in full.
Played out across Reprezent Radio, the shows included appearances from the likes of Savages’ Jehnny Beth, Warpaint, Sampha, Robyn, Novelist, Nadia Rose and Kurupt FM – all bringing their own slide to the aerial takeover. It was pretty bloody special, and you can now listen to them all below,
The xx wrapped up their headline run in support of latest album ‘I See You’ with a huge night at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena a couple of weeks ago, and will now embark on a vast run of tour dates around the world – landing back in the UK for a show in Glasgow on August 30th and a headline slot at this year’s Bestival.
