The xx have released a new video for ‘On Hold’, directed by Alasdair McLellan and shot in Marfa, Texas – check it out below.
Speaking of the collaboration, the band say: “Marfa, Texas [is] a very special place to us, where we wrote and recorded some of our new album. We have a lot of love and respect for the people of the USA, having played hundreds of shows across the country over the past years. We hope this video reflects just some of the warmth and acceptance we have encountered there.”
The xx’s latest single, ‘On Hold’ is taken from third studio album ‘I See You’, out 13th January. The release will be followed by a UK tour that includes seven London shows at Brixton Academy.
