The xx were joined onstage by Savages’ Jehnny Beth and the results were blooming wonderful

The performance took place last night (March 13th) in the midst of the band’s current Brixton Academy residency
After having Robyn join them onstage over the weekend, The xx pulled out all the stops once again – this time with Savages’ Jehnny Beth joining the band for a standout moment at Brixton Academy last night (March 13th).

Fresh from playing a support set earlier in the evening with a solo piano show, Jehnny joined The xx for a performance of ‘Infinity’, taken from the band’s self-titled debut album.

It’s another jaw-dropping moment from the The xx and their Night + Day series of shows at the venue – running up to seven headline nights in total and rounding out tonight (March 14th) and tomorrow (March 15th). All in support of latest album ‘I See You’, The xx will then return to the UK in September for a headline slot at this year’s Bestival.
