There’s going to be a Peaky Blinders festival in autumn, featuring sets from Primal Scream and Anna Calvi.

Taking place in Digbeth, Central Birmingham from 14th-15th September, the event will host immersive theatre, live music and fashion inspired by the series, a cinema showing, a museum, food, drink, poetry and more.

Slaves are also playing, plus Mike Skinner (DJ Set), Nadine Shah, The Correspondents, Swingrowers, Electric Swing Circus, Heavybeat Brass Band, Jive Aces, Jim Wynn Swing Band, Baghdaddies, Miss Kiddy and The Cat, Swing Zazou, Thrill Collins, Punch The Sky and more to be announced.

There will also be appearances from Peaky Blinders cast members and special guests, props from the show, Q&As with show creator Steven Knight, debates on the history, politics and social themes of Series 5 and loads more.

John Empson, Festival Director & Founder, says: “The legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival is a brand new concept which starts in Digbeth, Birmingham, the authentic birthplace of the Peaky Blinders.

“Something totally fresh in the festival market, the show will merge cinema, live music, immersive theatre, ballet, bespoke food and drink, spoken word, pop-up performances, collaborations, exclusive previews, appearances from cast members and world class special guests.

“A totally 360 degree festival experience.’”

Tickets go on general sale from 10am on Friday, 9th August.
