THØSS premieres new single: “‘Submarine’ tells a story of manipulation”

Catch THØSS playing live next month.
THØSS ‘officially’ drops his new single ‘Submarine’ tomorrow (18th November), but he’s sharing it a little early – check out the song below, first on Dork.

It marks the 26-year-old’s first release since debut EP ‘Benchwarmer’ earlier this year, and is a wonderfully knowing tale told from the point of view of, well, a bit of an arsehat.

“‘Submarine’ tells a story of manipulation; a complete burial beneath the skin,” explains THØSS. “I didn’t write ‘Submarine’ autobiographically, but tried to comment on imbalances sometimes seen in relationships and wrote lyrics filled with the arrogance of the perpetrators. I wrote ‘Submarine’ behind the wheel of a car.”

To see the year out, THØSS will play a couple of live dates in Manchester and London. Catch him at:

10 Fallow Cafe, Manchester

14 The Old Blue Last, London (tickets)
