Thyla debut new video for ‘Ferris Wheels’

The Brighton band looked to evoke a sombre tone.
Brighton’s Thyla recently dropped their single ‘Ferris Wheels’ via REX Records – and now they’re back with a video that you can watch below, first on Dork.

The clip has a despondent feel, full of eerie black and white footage of knitting, cat’s cradles and a maypole.

“We wanted the video for ‘Ferris Wheels’ to evoke a repetitive sombre feeling to tie in with the underlying message in the song of not being good enough for those around you,” the quartet explain.

The video’s release follows both a single launch show at the Shacklewell Arms, and a hometown set at The Alternative Escape this past weekend.
