Dork faves Thyla have dropped a brand new track.
Titled ‘Blue’, it’s taken from a forthcoming debut EP ‘What’s On Your Mind’, set to drop on 1st February next year.
It’s the second cut to be lifted, following on from the previously debuted ‘Candy’.
Speaking about ‘Blue’, the band explain: “The lyrics came from a similar place to the themes and ideas found in many of our other songs. Blue as in, I got the blues, hones in on the rapid and unstoppable rate of change in the way we interact with people. Blue as in, the colour of the Twitter and Facebook interface, makes for an ironic double entendre. The things making us sad, is the colour of sad, “I’m blue” is both the cause and the symptom!”
The band have a pair of dates left to close out the year – they’ll play Brighton’s Sticky Mike’s on 24th November and London’s Shacklewell Arms on the 28th.
