You can stream the opening track, ‘Number One (In New York)', now.
Titus Andronicus have announced a new album.

The band will release ‘A Productive Cough’ on 2nd March via Merge Records. The news comes alongside the record’s opening track, ‘Number One (In New York)’, with a video directed by Ray Concepcion which serves as a trailer for an hour long ‘making of’ documentary, set to arrive on 26th February.

Speaking about the album, the band’s Patrick Stickles explains: “[+@] records have always had their fair share of ballads, but they were always buried. Now, they are the cornerstones.”

Titus Andronicus (or +@, if we’re using their chosen abbreviated form), will head off on their first ever “acoustic” tour stateside this March. Stickles will perform on the dates in a duo alongside pianist Alex Molini.

You can check out ‘Number One (In New York)’, those live dates and the tracklist for ‘A Productive Cough’ below.
