Tom Grennan has released a personal new single, ‘You Are Not Alone’

His third album, ‘What Ifs & Maybes’, is slated for release in spring 2023.

Tom Grennan has shared a raw and honest new single, ‘You Are Not Alone’.

The new track follows a collaboration with Joel Corry on ‘Lionheart (Fearless)’, with the English singer’s most recent LP, ‘Evering Road’, having arrived last year – Dork’s three-star review described the record as, “gospel-tinged throughout, stylistically encapsulating both the emotional and uplifting.”

Having already announced a third album, ‘What Ifs & Maybes’, for release in spring 2023 – and with the full tracklist currently unconfirmed – it seems likely that ‘You Are Not Alone’ is a cut from the upcoming project.

“This isn’t just another single to me, it’s far more than that,” Grennan has declared. “This is the most personal song I have ever written. I want these lyrics to help other people as much as writing them has helped me. I’ve been open and raw in songs before, but when this song started pouring out of me, it was different.”

“‘You Are Not Alone’ is a song about kindness, and for anyone who has ever been made to feel alone,” he continues. “Whilst Christmas can be a happy time for many, it can also be a time when people feel a deep sense of loneliness, and I hope this song talks to that feeling and gives you that warm hug you might need right now. Now, more than ever, we need to look after each other and look after ourselves.”
