Torrential rain in Houston just cost us Lorde, Charli XCX and Tove Lo ‘doing’ Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’

Life isn't fair.
Some torrential rain and flooding may have just cost us something iconic.

Lorde, Charli XCX and Tove Lo were all set to appear at Free Press Summer Fest in Houston yesterday (Sunday 4th June). However, the festival was cancelled due to “apocalypse-style weather”. Sad news, sure, but not as sad as what we’re now missing out on.

According to our Ella (Ella, Ella, Ella), the three were planning to team up for a topical cover of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’.

Rain is shit. Piss off, rain.
