Trout has shared a new single, ‘Gutter’.

Newly signed to Chess Club Records, the Liverpool-based newcomer’s latest track is about a loved one not understanding mental health issues.

“‘Gutter’ is about an experience I had with someone close to me, where they couldn’t relate to dealing with depression,” she explains. “They believed it wasn’t a real thing or something people choose to feel, which is equally hilarious as it is tragic. It’s written fairly tongue-in-cheek to reflect that.”

Check it out below, and catch them live at Manchester YES (5th June), Manchester Hot Take (17th June), and Manchester YES (14th August).
