U.S. Girls has shared a new video for ‘Pearly Gates (Feat. James Bailey)’. It’s a track from new album ‘In a Poem Unlimited’, due for release on 16th February.
Meg Remy explains: “Some years back a story was recounted to me about a man attempting to convince a woman to engage in unprotected sex by saying, ‘Don’t worry, I’m really good at pulling out.’ I thought this was a hilariously stupid thing to say and knew one day I would build a song around this line.”
She’ll be in the UK for a trio of shows just after the album’s release, playing London’s Scala (16th May), Birmingham’s Hare and Hounds (17th) and Manchester’s Soup Kitchen (18th).
