According to ‘industry rumours’, Vampire Weekend may have shifted labels for their new album.

HITS Daily Double claims the band are in the process of inking a new deal with Columbia Records, meaning they’ll be leaving their long term home of XL Recordings.

A new album from the three piece – their first since Rostam Ratmanglij left full time service in the band earlier this year – is expected to drop next year, roughly four years after the release of their third full-length ‘Modern Vampires of the City’.
