Vistas have continued to unveil their upcoming EP, ‘Beautiful Nothing’, with a brand new single, ‘Follow You Down’.
It follows recent release, ‘Back Of The Car’, which was their first new music of 2022. Both singles come from Vistas’ ‘Beautiful Nothing’ EP, which is slated to arrive lin January via Is Right Records.
The new project follows the Edinburgh-based trio’s sophomore LP, ‘What Were You Hoping To Find?’, which they shared in November last year. Dork’s 4-star review said the album was, “bookended with some fine bangers.”
On the new track, frontman Prentice Robertson says: “This is by far the heaviest Vistas tune to date and I think it has an early 2000’s indie feel to it. It came right at the end of a session when we wanted to try squeeze out one more idea. All the parts fell into place out of nowhere and the lyrics flowed out essentially in one stream of consciousness.”
“‘Follow You Down’ is about being the feeling of being in love with someone to the extent that you’d do anything for them even if it was self detrimental,” he concludes.
