Scottish indie prospects Voodoos have debuted a brand new track.

Titled ‘It’s Your Life’, frontman Piero Marcuccilli says: “The song is about growing up and growing apart from someone you were close to and how that could turn sour. You’re left wondering how things would be if you did something differently. The situation is already beyond repair but you still have hope for the future.

Despite sounding youthful and fun, It’s quite a sad song – almost like an anti-love song which is ironic since it’s coming out on the weekend of Valentine’s Day. It’s something I think almost everyone can relate to on some level.”

Not exactly in the spirit of things, now is it guys?

Produced by the prolific and brilliant Tarek Musa, formally of Spring King, now working under the name Dead Nature, it’s a prime delivery of classic post-00s indie cool. You can check it out below.
