Wait, it looks like The 1975 are tinkering away at new material?

They’ve teased 2017, 2018 and by the looks of it - some cracking jumpers too
A tease on Instagram nowadays basically means confirming an album right? Well, that basically is what The 1975 are up to, dropping a cheeky nugget that points to new material already.

After frontman Matt Healy pointed towards 2017 in a previous tweet, now drummer George Daniel has sneaked a cheeky clip onto Instagram of the two working away with the tagline “2018” helpfully pointing to a time where we may hear some new stuff.

We’re happy to wait, especially with the storming success and sounds of latest LP ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’ still bursting through our speakers day in, day out.

The 1975 are currently in the midst of a huge run of tour dates across the US, and will return to the UK in December for a mammoth set of arena dates which include two nights at London’s O2 Arena.

Big time.

Check out this tease below, and get excited – already.
