Warpaint head up initial Simple Things 2016 line-up

The Big Moon, Twin Peaks, a Metronomy DJ set and more have also been announced.
The first acts have been announced for this year’s Simple Things festival.



The one day, multi-venue Bristol festival takes place on October 22nd, with Warpaint the first live headliner and Ben UFO heading up the DJ sets.



The initial line-up also includes Steve Mason, Jessy Lanza, Powell, Abra, Suuns, AJ Tracey, Kanda Bongo Man, Twin Peaks, Rival Consoles, Plattenbau, The Big Moon, Harvey Sutherland, Horsebeach and Chrononautz.



Meanwhile there’ll be DJ sets from Metronomy, Tim Sweeney, Helena Hauff, Crazy Cousinz, Veronica Vasicka, Madam X, Lena Willikens, Boris, Courtesy, Evan Baggs, Massimiliano Pagliara, Red Axes, Mike Servito, Karen Gwyer, Marcus Nasty and Saiorse.



There’ll also be a finale with John Carpenter, who will be playing his latest album ‘Lost Themes II’ at a special show in Bristol’s Colston Hall.
