Wasia Project have shared their new video for ‘ur so pretty’.
The project of sibling duo Will Gao and Olivia Hardy, it follows their recent ballad ‘My Lover Is Sleeping’ and indie-pop track ‘Petals On The Moon’. They released their debut EP ‘how can I pretend?’ in May 2022.
Olivia says of the single: “’ur so pretty’ is essentially about falling in love for the first time and the intensity of all the emotions involved. It talks about the fear of time passing and the desire to cling onto fleeting moments, acknowledging the fact that eventually everything ends.”
Originally unintended for an official release, the song was first privately released as a rough demo under Olivia Hardy’s name, but later found its place as a re-recorded version for Wasia Project.
