Waterparks have released two new one-track projects, ‘Double Dare 2019’ and ‘Entertainment 2019’

They're utilising old material.

Waterparks have released two new projects, ‘Double Dare 2019’ and ‘Entertainment 2019’.

The two tracks see the band re-record and condense their first two albums – released in 2016 and 2018 via their former label, Equal Vision – in an attempt to regain control of their work.

They explain: “WHAT COMES NEXT IS FOR US. TO FEEL LIKE WE ACTUALLY OWN OUR OWN OLD MUSIC. BECAUSE WE DON’T. SOMEONE ELSE DOES.

“EVERYTHING YOU’RE ABOUT TO HEAR THIS WEEKEND (& LATER THIS WEEK TOO) WAS COMPLETELY RE-RECORDED IN 4 DAYS AND IT’S WHAT I NEED TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT OUR SITUATION. ENJOY.”

Have a listen below, and catch the band on tour in the UK early next year. Their new album ‘Fandom’ is out now.
