wax works has shared his new alt-pop bop, ‘know no better’

  • Henry O'Donnell
  • September 17, 2021

wax works has shared his new track, ‘know no better’.

It marks the third single from Leeds newcomer Adam Levey, and it arrives ahead of his upcoming set at Live At Leeds, which will take place this October.

“‘know no better’ follows a story of a young couple experiencing a stalemate where both know it’s no longer working, but are afraid of life apart,” he explains.

“The verse riff was the starting point, which certainly pays homage to early Arctic Monkeys records. I guess in summary it’s a track about fear of change and becoming settled within yourself, sometimes for the worst.”

Check it out below, and catch his live at the following:

OCTOBER
04 The Waiting Room, London
14 The Eagle Inn – Manchester
16 Live at Leeds
23 Barnsley Live
