Turns out Wayne from Wayne has a band.
Mark McKenna – who also starred in Sing Street a few years back – is a breakout star from cult fave YouTube series Wayne, which follows the titular character on a road trip to get back his late Dad’s car.
Created by Shawn Simmons, and produced by Deadpool and Zombieland duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, it’s a bit like End of the Fucking World, but with a lot more people getting bludgeoned with a hammer.
Anyway, he’s just released his 1975 and Pale Waves-indebted debut single ‘Drama Queen’, with his band Milk. – check it out below.
