We might be getting new Marina and the Diamonds next month, ‘FYI’

Her new album may be with us in April, too.

Marina and the Diamonds is set to release new music next month.

That’s the scoop from PopBuzz, who got the news from Marina’s own mouth at the weekend as she played Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball.

Apparently, a new album mat be with us in April, with her first new music in over three years dropping in January.

“I want to tell people details all the time but I can’t because I have been planning it for ages,” she explained.

“It’s not really conceptual in ways like Electra Heart was but there is a concept in terms of how it’s going to be released that you will find out in April but I am going to release a new song in January”.

The first songs (i.e. plural) will apparently be “really different” to the singles from the album, with the production a step away from her other full-lengths.
