Weezer have revealed new details about their four-part release plans for 2022.
Rivers Cuomo had recently talked about the band’s intent to release four albums, themed around the seasons, in 2022 – even going so far as to give release dates.
That’s now been re-worked to four EPs, with the band explaining: “This year we’re releasing 4 EPs inspired by magic, Pagan myths, religious rituals, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Shakespeare & more (so much more). Each one will take you on an enchanting journey.”
The first of the EPs, ‘SZNZ: Spring’ will be released on the Spring Equinox, that’s next Sunday, 20th March.
A first track, titled ‘A Little Bit of Love’ from the release will come this Wednesday, 16th March. They also promise “lots more coming soon, so mark your sundial for the coming solstices and equinoxes.”
