Art Brut have returned with a indie-poptastic new single.
Titled ‘Wham! Bang! Pow! Let’s Rock Out’ (i.e. the most Art Brut name for a track ever conceived – Ed), it’s the first taster of a forthcoming album set for release later this year.
Signing to Alcopop Records for the release, frontman Eddie Argos describes the track as “a song about making new friends.”
“Watch the fuck out,” he explains. “We’re back and very rejuvenated. Art Brut are coming to your party whether you want us to or not.”
To be honest, Eddie, that sounds a bit rude. It was just a quiet thing for a few mates, and now you’ve started dancing on the table. We’re never going to get these scratches out. Anyone know a good french polisher?
