whenyoung have self-directed their video for new track, ‘Heaven on Earth’

They’ve also announced a headline London show at The Boston Arms.
Irish indie-poppers whenyoung have shared the self-directed video for their new song ‘Heaven on Earth’, the follow-up to singles ‘Actor’ and ‘Pretty Pure’.

“It’s our first release on Virgin EMI, which is exciting for us,” the band explained when we collared them at The Great Escape. “The first one came out on Hate Hate Hate, then we did Yala! with Felix from the Maccabees, which was exciting for us, and then now this is on Virgin EMI, so it feels like… a lot of pressure.”

“It’s going to form part of an EP that we’re releasing towards the end of the summer,” they added. “We recorded a video, we directed it ourselves, and we’re excited about that as well, that’s going to come out in like two weeks. It’s based on the seven deadly sins, and hell, and we’re happy with it.”

They’ve also announced a headline London show at The Boston Arms for 11th October, which will follow festival sets at Latitude, Truck, Neverworld, Bestival and loads more.
