White Lies are releasing their new album ‘Five’ next year

They've got some tour dates and a new single, too.

White Lies have announced plans for a new album, and a UK tour.

The band’s fifth album will be creatively titled ‘Five’, and arrives on 1st February 2019. The follow-up to ‘Friends’ is previewed by lead single ‘Time To Give’, which you can check out below.

A statement explains that ‘Five’ is “a milestone record for White Lies”. The band explain: “It marks our decade as a band, which has pushed us to expand our sound and reach new territory artistically – it marks the start of a new and exciting chapter for us.”

So there we go.

They’ll support the record with a UK tour that starts in Brighton on 31st January, before heading on to dates in Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Cambridge, London and Birmingham. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 21st September at 9am.
