White Lies are back with a new album, single and UK tour

First single 'Take It Out On Me' is streaming now.
London doom and gloom anthem-makers White Lies are back with their fourth studio record ‘Friends’ set to drop on October 7th.

Speaking about the record and the “message”, bassist and lyricist Charles Cave said: “In the past couple of years, we’ve noticed friends’ life situations causing them to make big decisions – marriages, kids, moving out of London. Friendships have begun to feel adult and our perception of time has changed. As kids, if you didn’t see a mate for a fortnight, you’d wonder what was wrong. Now you might not see someone for six months and it doesn’t matter.”

And we don’t have to wait long for the music, they’ve also debuted the shimmering new single ‘Take It Out On Me’ today, so we can start those pogoing indie disco parties early.

Wait – there’s more.
