Will Joseph Cook is on the cover of the new Dork!

  • Dork News Desk
  • April 12, 2017
This easter, it’s not just about chocolate eggs. It’s also about the best music magazine the world has ever seen.

That’s us. Shut up.

Yep, this Friday (14th April) isn’t just Good, it’s GREAT, because we’re dropping the biggest, most rammed issue of Dork yet to celebrate ten months of fun and frolics. Not only does it have more pages, but there’s more stuff in there to match.

If we’re looking to have a print party, the first name on the guestlist has to be the Sweet Dreamer himself, Will Joseph Cook. Yep, Big Willy is on the cover to celebrate the release of his grin-inducing debut album. Pop with personality will prevail.

He’s joined by the likes of Father John Misty, Mac DeMarco, Clean Cut Kid, POND and Feist. We take a Day In The Life with Fickle Friends, get Eat Fast to guide us round Newcastle, and chat to Get Inuit ahead of Live at Leeds 2017.

But that’s not all. Obviously. There’s also Day Wave, Gnarwolves, HalfNoise, BNQT, Theme Park, Splashh and Happyness. Courtney Barnett kicks off our list of All Time Ultimate Bangers, we tackle the Real Music Bores on our new Soapbox, and go deep into 20 years of Radiohead‘s ‘OK Computer’ as part of our new essential calendar – never miss anything again! Off Bloom, Vagabon and Ten Tonnes say hi in Hype, we’ve got the official verdict on the new albums from Gorillaz and Kasabian, and we catch Superfood, Pale Waves, King Nun, VANT, Banks and MUNA live.

Add to that all your usual faves, plus new cut out and keep posters featuring Black Honey and Sundara Karma, and you’ve got a magazine full of so much awesome, it’s struggling not to burst out and take over all by itself.

The new issue of Dork is out this Friday (14th April). You can pick it up from venues and record stores nationwide, or order one direct here, or below. You can also subscribe and get every issue, plus all our special editions like the bi-monthly Dork Festival Guide, straight to your door.
