Bringing together an all-star cast – Wolf Alice, Foals, The Big Moon and The Vaccines are just some of the incredible names coming together as a part of new charity album ‘Songs For The National Health Service’.
The album is also set to feature the likes of The Wombats, The Magic Gang, Sports Team, Spector, Swim Deep, Oscar Lang, The Orielles, Baxter Dury, Nilüfer Yanya, Alfie Templeman and Pixx + Jessica Winter.
Available only on vinyl, the release features an array of absolute favourites all contributing special tracks, remixes, live versions and demoes that have never been heard or released before.
All proceeds from the compilation album will go towards funding specialist and reusable PPE equipment for NHS Key Workers. Teaming up with the Hoods For Heroes campaign, launched by Dr Natalie Watson at University Hospital Lewisham – the proceeds will help stock equipment at Lewisham Greenwich NHS Trust, Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust and University Hospital Crosshouse in Scotland. Beyond that, all further funds raised will help further provide equipment for regions and trusts up and down the UK – not only helping safely treat victims of Covid-19 but helping NHS teams to restart time-critical head and neck cancer surgery,
