‘No Hard Feelings’ – Wolf Alice have dropped another new track, and obviously it’s great

Current Dork cover stars Wolf Alice have debuted another Really Very Good new track, ‘No Hard Feelings’.

It’s the latest cut to arrive from their forthcoming third album ‘Blue Weekend’, which is now set to arrive on 4th June. A week earlier! Woo, etc.

Talking about the track, Ellie Rowsell explains: “I started out trying to make a really cheesy almost Motown-y, Ronettes kind of song about the end of a relationship, and feeling ‘What’s the point of being miserable about it?’ But it was short, because originally it was played so fast. I tried to make it longer, but I didn’t have any more words — I had said everything I wanted to say perfectly, and didn’t want to ruin it with more. So instead we slowed it down, and I felt way more moved by it like that.”

After our own hearts, that one. Just increase the line spacing. Make the font bigger. Add a bit of white space.

‘No Hard Feelings’ comes alongside another video directed by Jordan Hemingway (Gucci, Raf Simons, Comme Des Garçons), which you can check out below.

You can read our interview with the band in the May edition of Dork, out now. If you’re a Dork Supporter, you can check it out online now. If you’re not – it’ll unlock for everyone ‘soon’, or you can sign up here and get access to all our supporter content, digital library and ‘more’.
