Wolf Alice’s new album is coming together

“Sketches” and “thinking” are well and truly in place for the follow up to 'My Love Is Cool'.
Ahh Wolf Alice. If we weren’t too busy swooning we’d be wondering when there’d be some fresh material on the horizon, and we’ve not got that update.

Speaking to Julie Adenuga last night on Beats 1, the Camden heroes gave an update as to where they sit with new material, with Theo saying:

“We’re thinking about it, we got some stuff in a vault. It’s exciting, hearing the rough – and this is by no means me saying we have new music – bad sketches of songs we’ve got at the moment, I am excited, you know it’d be amazing to get a new record out and we have been playing these songs for quite a long time.”

Wolf Alice are set to release a ‘My Love Is Cool’ boxset full of unreleased b-sides and demos on 19th August, right after huge sets at Glastonbury and British Summer Time.

Then there’s the small matter of that track on the Ghostbusters soundtrack…
