XVOTO have shared a new track, ‘Catacumbas’.

The song follows on from last year’s self-titled EP, and is described by the duo as “a comic strip about a girl who, having moved on from her ex-boyfriend, sees him as a zombie trapped in the past.”

“She taunts him and keeps renouncing him,” they continue, “insisting that they’ll only ever see each other again in the catacombs (Catacumbas) e.g. when they’re dead. We shot the video in Scicli, Sicily, an area full of catacombs, caves and abandoned churches. It’s primarily a performance video of us taking over the town. We tried to contrast rustic Mediterranean life with our cartoonish visuals.”
