You Me At Six have dropped a video for their recent single ‘3AM’.
The video is split into two acts. In act 1 (‘Expectation’) you see what frontman Josh Franceschi ‘thinks’ happened, which is followed swiftly by the ‘entertaining truth’ of what actually occurred (‘Reality’).
Speaking about the clip, Josh explains: The idea came from watching Wolf Of Wall Street. In the film there is a scene where the main protagonist (Leonardo DiCaprio) has a split reality when under the influence of what he believes to be true and what is actually true. That just resonated with us. I worked quite closely with Dan Broadley (Director) as I found myself doing a lot of ‘acting’ in this video. It was new, and a challenge, but he gave me the confidence to embrace it and also have the freedom to go off script”
You Me At Six’s new album ‘VI’ is set for release on October 5th. They’re set to tour it – and their debut album ‘Take Off Your Colours’ which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year – through November and December. You can find those dates here.
