Young Fathers have shared another new album preview, ‘Rice’

The new single follows the recent release of tracks 'Tell Somebody', 'I Saw' and 'Geronimo'.

The highly anticipated release of Young Fathers‘ new album, ‘Heavy Heavy’, is just around the corner. The album will feature 10 songs, including the just revealed new single ‘Rice’, which comes with a visualiser directed by David Uzochukwu.

The new single follows the recent release of tracks ‘Tell Somebody’, ‘I Saw’ and ‘Geronimo’.

Young Fathers have described the title of the new album as being symbolic of their journey over the years. They explain: “Heavy Heavy could be a mood, or it could describe the smoothed granite of bass that supports the sound… or it could be a nod to the natural progression of boys to grown men and the inevitable toll of living, a joyous burden, relationships, family, the natural momentum of a group that has been around long enough to witness massive changes.”

You can check out ‘Rice’ below. ‘Heavy Heavy’ is set for release on 3rd February.
