About City and Colour
City and Colour is the solo musical project of Canadian musician Dallas Michael John Albert Green, born September 29, 1980. Green is also known for his role as a singer, rhythm guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder of the band Alexisonfire. In 2005, he released his first full-length album, Sometimes, which was certified platinum in 2006. The name City and Colour derives from his own name, combining the words Dallas (a city) and Green (a colour). Green began performing in small venues between tours with Alexisonfire.
