Gone are the jagged edges and raw confessions of her earlier work; in their place is something gentler, more contented, but no less compelling.

Early track ‘Crush’ reinforces the tone with sweet simplicity. Over breezy guitar strums and shuffling percussion, De Souza sings, “I think I’ve got a crush on you”, her voice equal parts hesitant and glowing.
