CMAT has released a new video for her sad cowboy song, 'I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!'.
Her third single, it's about social anxiety and the like, and follows on from her similarly bonkers debut single, ‘Another Day (kfc)', and ‘Rodney’.
"It’s mainly about urban isolation," she explains, "about having all of the freedom and resources to do whatever you want but still choosing to do nothing out of deeply-embedded social anxiety and detachment from your own emotions.
Of the video, she adds: "The concept for the music video was basically that I wanted to be Shane from the movie Shane. I ride in to save the party by bringing cans, and then ride back off into the sunset before I get the chance to enjoy the fruits of my labour.
