Teased earlier this week, it’s a pulsing, future-pop-bop, which you can check out below.
The track comes alongside a typically Grimes-y lyric video, directed by Anton Tammi.
It’s described as the first chapter in a new era, and the first song to be taken from “her highly anticipated Book 1′.
Presumably not an actual book. Unless it’s one of those musical books you give children. More likely it’s her new project-slash-album-slash-whatever-we’re-calling-them-now.
‘Player of Games’ also appears in the latest instalment of Rocket League. Vroom it in the goal, etc etc.
