Snail Mail has debuted another track from her forthcoming album ‘Valentine’.
Titled ‘Ben Franklin’, the latest taster of her second full-length follows up on the previously released title track.
Arriving alongside a Josh Coll directed video, Snail Mail – AKA Lindsey Jordan – explains: “I wanted to sonically and lyrically get out of my comfort zone with ‘Ben Franklin’. It felt only right that the visual accompaniment should include dancing in front of a camera and holding a 10 foot snake close to my face.”
Speaking about the album, she continues: “I wanted to take as much time as possible with this record to make sure I was happy with every detail before unleashing it unto y’all. Referring to the process as the deepest level of catharsis and therapy I have ever experienced would be a huge understatement. ‘Valentine’ is my child!”
Snail Mail’s second album ‘Valentine’ is set for release on 5th November via Matador.
