Poetry and the wine flow
And in the dream you were mine
You walked into the night
Vanished from my sight
But you stayed in my smile

Who could have known on that warm summer night?
Oh, all the places we'd go in this world side by side
The night would disappear
And I'd rinse my happy tears with the morning dew

The wine stained on my tongue
And all the said and done
I've become a part of you

A seed without the dirt
A poet lost for words

The life that I once had
