Green Day are casting extras for their film about a band's early days in Oklahoma
Live Nation Productions seeks extras aged 18-30 for New Years Rev, a comedy about three friends mistakenly traveling to open for Green Day.
Green Day are working with Live Nation Productions on a new comedy film titled New Years Rev, with casting currently underway in Oklahoma.
The coming-of-age story follows three friends who embark on a cross-country journey after mistakenly believing they're set to open for Green Day at a New Year's show in Los Angeles. Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman and Ryan Foust are cast as the central trio, with Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Sean Gunn, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio and Keen Ruffalo also featuring.
Casting agency Freihofer have issued a call for extras aged 18-30 to play "attendees of a pop-up rock show at an outdoor location", specifically seeking "punks, emo, hardcore, alternative and rocker young adults". The outdoor filming is scheduled for 24th-27th February, with one day dedicated to a 'rain and mud fight' scene.
