London-based five-piece
Truthpaste have confirmed details of their debut EP
'I Don't Know Either', which arrives on 28th April through Dirty Hit and Memorials Of Distinction. Accompanying the announcement is new single
'Friendship Is The Truth', which follows '
Bus Song'.
Speaking about the new track,
Esmé said: "Euan and Claire played it to us once, then we got distracted for a couple years, but I would find myself singing it and trying to figure out what it was. I was very happy to finally piece it together last summer. It felt like the right time for it to form as we have all become very good friends over the last couple of years and it is indeed the friendship song."
Originally coming together in Manchester during 2022, Truthpaste comprise Esmé Lark on lead vocals and saxophone, Theo Murchie on guitar and vocals, Claire Sun on violin and vocals, Euan McNeill on bass, guitar and vocals, and James Ballarò on synth, lapsteel and guitar.
