CASISDEAD is a UK rap and grime MC, record producer, and music video director from London. He was born in 1986, as suggested by a track on his 2012 mixtape The Number 23. He references his birthday in a track from his 2015 EP Commercial 2, using a symbolic allusion to Dorian Gray, a fictional character from Oscar Wilde’s novel. Cas initially began rapping in 2005 under the name Castro Saint but retired the moniker in 2007 and took a five-year hiatus from music.
