About David Gray

David Gray is a British singer-songwriter born on 13 June 1968. He released his debut album in 1993. His album White Ladder, released five years later, included the hit single 'Babylon' and gained international recognition. White Ladder was the first of three albums by Gray to reach number one in the UK charts within six years and was the fifth best-selling album of the 2000s in the country. In 2019, it was ranked as the tenth best-selling album of the 21st century in the UK. Gray has achieved five consecutive albums that reached the US Top 20 and has received four Brit Award nominations, including two for Best British Male.
