Dune Rats have confirmed a new album for summer, 'If It Sucks, Turn It Up'
It's teased by new single 'Cheapskate'.

Dune Rats are an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band originally formed as a duo with Danny Beus on guitar and lead vocals and BC Michael Marks on drums and backing vocals. Brett Jansch, formerly a touring member of Bleeding Knees Club, later joined as bassist, forming a three-piece lineup. Brad Heald, from Red Riders and The Vines, made touring appearances on bass from 2011 to 2012. The band uploaded the track 'Colour Television' onto Triple J Unearthed in October 2010, before releasing it officially the following month. Their self-titled debut album was released on 30 May 2014 through Ratbag Records, followed by a global and national tour. In 2015, they announced the launch of Ratbag Records as a record label to sign other performers. Their second album, The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit, was released on 11 February 2017 and debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their fourth studio album, Real Rare Whale, was announced on 11 February 2022 and scheduled for release on 24 June 2022, but was delayed to 29 July due to vinyl manufacturing issues.
