Eliza Rose, born on 28 November 1991 in the East End of London, is a British DJ, music producer, and singer. She grew up in Dalston and began working at the Flashback Records shop at age 14. She has been a fan of soul and jazz music and sang from a young age. Rose started DJing in her late teens after purchasing records, viewing it as a way to access more music. She attended college and university, taking courses in music production. She hosts a radio show for The Vinyl Factory and has recorded collaborations with various artists. Rose received a song, "B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)," from DJ and producer Interplanetary Criminal, for which she wrote lyrics inspired by Pam Grier in the film Coffy. The track gained popularity in the London club scene and was performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2022. It entered the UK Singles Chart on 29 July 2022 and reached number one in September of that year.
