About First Aid Kit

First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo composed of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993 respectively. They gained international recognition in 2008 with a YouTube cover of Fleet Foxes' 'Tiger Mountain Peasant Song.' The group has released five albums, four EPs, and multiple singles. Their song 'Emmylou' was ranked tenth on Rolling Stone's "Single of the Year" list in 2012. They have been nominated for Brit Awards as best international group in 2015, 2019, and 2023. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a guitarist, and a keyboard player.
