Girlpool was an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by friends Avery Tucker and Harmony Tividad. They released their self-titled EP on Bandcamp in 2014, which was later re-released on Wichita Recordings. Their debut album, Before the World Was Big, was released in 2015, followed by Powerplant in 2017 and What Chaos Is Imaginary in 2019. Their fourth studio album, Forgiveness, was released in 2022. In August 2022, the duo announced an indefinite hiatus from the band.
