About Hammock

Hammock is an American ambient post-rock duo formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2005 by Marc Byrd and Andrew Thompson. They have released 14 albums and six EPs since their formation, primarily on their own label, Hammock Music, which is distributed through Secretly Distribution. Their work has received favorable reviews from critics, including Pitchfork and AllMusic.
