(i-dle) (Korean: 아이들; stylized in all lowercase) is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group originally consisted of six members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua, and Soojin, who departed from the group on August 14, 2021. (i-dle) is recognized for their musicality and versatility, and for being a "self-producing" idol group that writes and produces much of their material. Since their debut with the extended play (EP) I Am and its lead single 'Latata' on May 2, 2018, they have been regarded as one of the most successful South Korean girl groups outside the "big four" record labels. Their subsequent releases included several moderately successful singles, but they gained widespread prominence with the song 'Tomboy', the lead single from their first studio album I Never Die (2022). 'Tomboy' achieved both critical and commercial success, reaching number one on the Circle Digital Chart. Their next single, 'Nxde', also topped the chart and made (i-dle) the only artist in 2022 to have two songs achieve a perfect all-kill.
